Quick question, what bulb for license plate?

Quick question, what bulb for license plate?
Hey I got pulled over last night and the cop told me that my back license plate light was out. He didn't even care really, he just mentioned it. Anyways, what bulb is used for that? It almost looks like a 194 if I remember right. If someone could help out, that'd be great. My car didn't come w/ a manual

Hmm actually I was kinda disappointed when I looked at the bulbs that I did have and I had a #74, #161, and two #1891. Ended up that the 161 works just fine there too.
