wire cliped under dashboard?

what is this cable that is cliped, iv learned to ignore it but it just bugged me again since i was down there today, one of the many sections of the wire that is cliped ,

cable that belongs attatched to the other

sorry bad pic ( thats the other end that is cliped )

okay so this wire seems to run from under my driver side dash , *pic 2 * and from there it runs through the driver side and into the hole *pic 1* from there it runs up through the fender and into the engine bay, sorry dont have that pic but i pulled out the end *pic 3*

any ideas on what the hell this could be??

Just off hand without seeing it really close up, I would have to say that is the antenna coaxial cable lead.

Does that wire look like it is a shielded cable? When I first saw the post, you hadn't added the other information in at the time. Does your antenna look like it is the original antenna or a replacement?

hm well it seems original to me, but at the same time it is very loose and wobbles, thats how i ran into that wire, i was trying to find a way to pull the wire tighter to tighten it, why would the other cable run from under the driver dash if it had to end up on the radio ? maybe the new antenna was routed more direct ., because i can see it leading behind the radio

p.s my car did come with an extra antenna when i bought it, it was in my hatch, but doesnt fit , its like the antenna screwd onto another piece, doesnt look like it fits my car but i could be wrong

Do you have a standard antenna in there or is it a power antenna.
