Need Help No start/crank

Ive searched the boards and have seen some things on this but Im not sure Im getting the whole picture...

My car... I just switched to a speed pro ECU...I also ditched hvac/cruise/ etc...

Anyway I had the interior completely torn apart for a 12 point cage install... Well Now as Im putting the motor back in I have a NO start condition... The solenoid never clicks...it acts as if the neutral safety switch or circuit is bad... I can see where the connections are correct on it....but Im not sure where or what this ignition relay is...what color are the wires that go to it... Also if the stock ECU somehow played a part in this what COuld/should I do to bypass that part of the system as the speed pro does not have an input for this..

Im pulling my hair out on this one... FWIW everything else on the car seems to be working...or at least most of it...

Also one other wierd thing.....when I turn the key to start The brake light comes on and the coolant temp pegs hot...so I am assuming a relay or ground is causing some sort of problem..

OK couple of things I saw when looking at it again.. Under the dash harness's... I have 1 PLUG that has a BIG ga like 12 or better Purple and yellow wire... Not sure what that plugs into...Im mnot finding anything not plugged in...but Im not finding a place for these...Im not sure if that was cruise control related or part of my no start problem..

secondly ecu wire...what exactly did the ecu do with the neutral switch wire???

Im going to try and plug in everything I can tomorrow and take pics of what is left...hopefully some pics may help me figure out what Im missing.....

That plug with the purple and yellow wires is for the clutch start switch on cars that came equipped with manual transmission. On a lot of firebirds, the car was wired for both the automatic and manual transmissions. The wiring harness that wasn't used was just tucked away under the dash out of sight. On the question of what the ECM has to do with the park/neutral switch, pin "A" goes to pin "B10" of the ECM and is the Park/Neutral signal. Pin "B" goes to pin "A12" of the ECM and is the ground for it.

Makes sense as this plug was just kind of laying there...and I did not remember unplugging it...

So... I scarcely understand what you mena by pi a and B... Im assuming pin b ground was just an ecu ground and therefore if I find pin B i could just ground it to the chassis... ??? but pin a...what could I do to "trick" the system into working...Im not using a stock ECU so I dont have the circuit anymore... Im kind of at a loss for where pin a and b go from and to.... I see where the 2 wires come out of the neutral start switch...then they disappear into a big loom under the dash.... Is there something I could do to these wires to fool the car into thinking the car is in park???? This is for all practical purposes a race only car...Im trying to avoid having to rewire a seperate starter button...If the neutral safety switch is bypassed that would be fine by me...

Obviously wiring is not my strong suit...

Got it fixed...Traced it down to a bad wire...then realized that my contacts inside my mini starter are bad....UGH.....solenoid pops the gear out but does not provide enough voltage to turn the motor...(hitachi style starter not GM) anyway opened it up and BANG!!! corrosion city... I hate to have to rebuild it BUT Im glad I found the problem.
