Lights sensor..

First, let me thank you for helping with my pop-up lights. The relay is ordered (couldn't find one in the junkyard), I'll let you know if that was it.

Second, my car has the sensor which automatically turns the lights on or off according to light outside. This is very annoying and I have asked here a while back about disabling this feature. I was told it could not be done. But it occured to me that if I could somehow wire the sensor to always think there was a sunny day outside, this would essentially bypass it alltogether, since I would always have to turn the lights ON manually with the switch, since the sensor would always think there is lots of light outside, it would never try to turn them on by itself! Is there a way to fool the sensor to do this (short of installing a flashlight on top of the sensor, lmao)? Any ideas are appreciated. I really can't stand the sensor, whos bright idea was it to force lights on me when I don't want them on. If I am rolling through the park, I might just want my foglights on, but NOOOO, if I am parked, I have to turn the car off, then back on with the parking break engaged in order for the lights to stay off.. argh.

If its a photo transistor you will need to figure out in which position(open or closed) it senses light and then just hard wire it that way.
