Tach Guage has signal but is dead
When I turn the car into the "on" position the needle on the tach comes up to the bottom of the numbers, but doesn't do anything more once the car is turned on. The car is a '91 V-8 Camaro.
Searching through posts I was able to find the tach signal wire and test it with the gauge cluster removed. I wired up an aftermarket tach straight to the pin on the guage cluster harness and the tach worked fine. So now that I know the problem lies in the guage itself what do I do? I'm guessing the problem lies in the green board that attaches to the chip on the back of the tach. Is this board repairable or replacable?
Thanks in advance for any help.

After further investigation I found that the green board seemed to be a little loose. I pushed it all the way in, put everything back together and now it works.
Thanks for looking.
