i think i have no power to my coil it's an 1987 camaro lg4 i checked both side of the coil wires and i have only one volt on it with the key on any one have a wiring diagram i bought a hayes book they only showed the old style set up with the coil in the cap.please help me i want to drive my convertible

Are you checking the pink wire in the gray connector to the ignition coil? This is the one that goes to the ignition switch.

 

thanks i though so but i had nothing do you know where that wire goes to i'm goin to say the starter with a fuseable link?
