i have a derale fan controller on my 84 z28, single fan, my problems is that the fan is not very dependable. sometimes it turns on at 120 and other times it wont turn on till 180 it seems that the push in the radiator style probe that came with it is completly incapable of interpriing the actual temp of the coolent. so my thought is this why cant i hook it up to the temp sensor in the manifold both are two wire one ground and one signal and use resitence to qauntify temp so it should work right and it then be easier to dial in the temp let me know if im wrong
