Neons or L.E.D.s?

Neons or L.E.D.s?
I want to get some Neon underbody lights for my car, but I found some L.E.D. underbody lights in the Summit Racing catalog. They say that LEDs are superior to neons in that they are brighter, and the tube they come in is virtually indestructable, and it is only a few bones more than the Neons. Has anyone used the LEDs? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
