temp gauge
temp gauge
I know that this has been post a million times, but I can't seem to find the right help. I can see clearly under my hood that the green temp. gauge wire is not connected to anything, however, I can't seem to figure out where the hell it connects to. I keep hearing that its suppose to connect to the head on the driver's side near spark plug 1. I'm going nuts trying to figure out where it connects at.
I have a 89 camaro RS and the connector end is a slim white plastic piece if that helps.

It is in the head on the drivers side.It is really close to the exhaust manifold so you can't see it.Feel around(while cold!).It is right above the #1 spark plug.

I had trouble finding it, too. Finally got a visual on it. Used a droplight. Seems to have a tiny brass nub that the connector slides onto. Good luck.
Well I finally found where to hook the wire up to last night when I changed my oil and was under my car. I also helped my buddy out(he had the same problem). But I would like to thank all that helped. Without your help, I would have been looking forever to find where to connect it to.
