Right Side Head light motor will not work when car is hot
Head lights motors work great when the car is just started or has set for a few hours. When at operating temp the right motor will not spool up.
This becomes a problem when I have been driving a while and the sun starts setting I have to stop and manually spin the motor to get the light up.
Thoughts??

Repair the headlight actuator using a '87-92 Firebird headlight repair kit and your problem will be solved.

I didnt think that would fix the problem because it works 100% of the time when the car is below operating temp. Won't work when hot.....motor wont even come on when hot, but works great when cool.
Rebuild kit fixs only the mechanical aspects of the light motor right?

I know these headlight actuators can be very frustrating. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. I'd still suspect a mechanical problem knowing that the gel inserts are such a poor design. That spoonful of chunks inside the gear may be meshing together enough to allow the force to transfer from the gear to the inner hub, yet won't when hot. The delrin bushings will solve the mechanical issue. If you still have the problem after then you can chase down the headlight module.

I had the same problem. Ripped the thing apart; the light switch, the fusebox, and lots of other things. Even thought that it was the aluminum wiring.
There are two (I seem to recall) relays devoted to headlight motor actuation. I discovered that the relay coil wire was wrapped around the connector pin, and the tack-weld had let go.
After removing the enamel from the wire end, I soldered it to the tab. Problem solved. Hope you have as much luck with this thing.
