Need Wiring Diagram for Guage Cluster
Could someone please email me or post the diagram(s) of the instrument panel connectors? I'm trying to check over all my wiring from when i put in a painless wiring harness and don't wish to tackle this horrible nightmare again. I did a search but none of any help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so very much. I don't think you know how much this helps me. If only they would put something like that in a Chilton's manual.
Again, thanks.

It is probably for a small #74 light bulb that is on some models. Look under the dash pad above the cigarette lighter and see if there is a small panel with a lense in it.

The light just shone down on the A/C controls and radio so you could see them at night. It wasn't very bright and not very effective. You don't really need it if you don't want to mess with it. No, the guage bezel doesn't need to be off. You can just stick it up out the way if you want too.

hey trickster ... there is no way a lightbulb hooks into that plug...it has to prongs in it...and thats it and theres no place for a lightbulb just a hole in the center air vent

I wish I had a digital camera so I could take a picture of the one in my car. Do you mean that the connector has two prongs in it that would take something like a pin? The #74 light bulb has two pins that fit in the connector like some small AAA flashlights do.
Okay I just found the schematic for it in my service manual and it is known (believe it or not) as the "ASH TRAY LIGHT", I kid you not.
