Fuel pump wont turn on?????
Fuel pump wont turn on?????
I want to know if anyone can help me. I was trying to wire up my electric fans the other day and i was in a hurry (first mistake). I wanted my fans to go on when the key is forward so i was just going to splice into a switched power. I was going to run a wire from the fuse box but i was to lazy to go through the fire wall. So i used the switched power wire off the the fuel pump realy.
Well when i went to turn the key forward, nothing happened, so i thought i just poped a fuse...but no fuse was poped. Now the fuel pump realy dosent even have a constant power going to it. neather dose the realy that is next to it.
So my buddy told me to check the engine code to see if that shows anything but now the check engine light dosent even come on when i turn the key forward.?? But i dont even know if it was working before, i never payed any attention.
Could the computer be ****ed up?
Could i have poped a fuseable link? If so where are they or how do you know which one is bad?
Please help. Thanks

Try replacing the 20 AMP in-line fuse located somewhere in the vicinity of the battery.
