update on my charging system...
Ok, I checked the wires the best I could from the top of the motor, and all seems good. I went to start it, I had 11.5 volts, but the started started to turn, then started clicking. My question is, if there is a loose connection at the starter, could that cause a voltage drain, and possible explain my no start even though I have enougb voltage?

You dont have enough voltage. You should have at least 12v to get it to start and 12v is almost completly drained. A fully charged battery is about 12.8v. The symptom you describe also indicates a dead battery.

ok, I charged it up real good, and when I turned the key on (not starting it) I had 13.5 volts. As soon as I started the car it dropped to 12.8. I gave it some load (turned the AC on) and it just started draining. Went all the way down to about 9v. I turned of the AC, and it went up to 10v, but would go higher. I turned the car off, tried to restart, and got the infamous clicking. I even tried the old take battery disc while running, and it died instantly. Also, it seems I can only fully charge the battery (13.5) when the ALT is disconnected.

Your alternator is definatly bad if its putting out that low of a voltage. You battery may also be bad. I would have that checked out before putting in a new alternator because a bad battery will kill a new alternator very quickly.

Well, had the Alt tested, it was ok. Had the batt tested again, tunrs out it was bad. So, I got a new battery, charged it up good, started the car, and I still have 12 volts. The volts dont go down when I put load on it (well, they go down, but it comes back up). I am really confused on this. I dont know why I only have 12 volts. I check all my wires, and they look ok. What the hell can be causeing this?
