91 Z28 Starter problems
I just bought a 91 Z28 with a T-5 tranny, drove it home, and tonight when I tried to start it up, just got a clicking noise from turning the key. Just clicking. I figured it was the battery, so I tried to jump it, to no avail. Any Idea what's up with the car? Previous owner said that the car had no starting problems before.

Can you roll the starter? I know it may seem obvious, but I had the same problem. Ended up spending a $150 on a tow and $100 on a battery - really just a flat spot.
I've seen you on here lots so I imagine you know what you are doing...
I never got mine replaced. Occasionally I still get the 'dead start' where it just clicks. I just turn it back and roll the ignition forward again until the starter has rolled off of the flat spot.
