Hey Trickster
I recently Took the dash out of my Thirdgen Camaro. above the driverside Kick Panel I see A Junction Box that Has a Few Hevy guage Wires that Connect to the Fuse Box. Is this where the fuse box gets its Power From.
It has Quite a Few open Slots. If I go To the junk Yard and Get the connectors to fit here is this a Good Place to Run Power From rather than tapping into Acc slots in the Fuse Box.

Yep, that is connector C238 located under the left kick panel. It was discontinued in the late production 89 models when they started splicing all the wires together.

Yea. I have Alot more fuses in mine, in my 84. You can rig wires and stuff like you said right into it. It much easier. I have a couple into mine. E.I. My fan wire plugs into the battery slot so when I turn the car on. The fan comes on. And I have a couple others riged into it. The only problem. The hard part. Is finding a spot to fit the wires through the firewall.
