Hi-beams not working...
All of a sudden the other night when I went to turn them on.. no click.. nada.. It almost seems as though the switch in the steering column is gone.
Any suggestions? If this a PITA fix or is it pretty painless?

There should be a little plastic trim piece behind the switch, make sure that's still in place. If it's not, the whole switch assembly will pivot with the lever and it won't click over.
If that's not it, the switch is probably broken.

same thing happend to me a few nights ago. I took off the plastic cover on behind the high beam switch and pieces just fell out
I found that the highbeam/turnsignal lever actually pushed a 2 foot long metal rod down the to REAL highbeam switch that is almost above the brake pedal. My pieces in the column were broken for good so i ripped out the metal rod and pulled the actual switch (that was riveted on) up the the left side of the dash, so i now have puch button highbeams
Will post pix tomarrow...
hope that helps :lala:
