1985 Relays for MAF Fuel Pump MPFI

Are these two relays the same part number? Also on the 1985, are there fuses for the ECM and MAF power underhood as well?

This probably is a question for Tom since he is the man on this subject. I hooked a FP relay to where the MAF relay was and the car ran crappier. I am getting a Code 34 instantly upon startup now even with a new battery, codes cleared etc.

Will removing a fuse on the fuse panel clear the computer on the 1985?

MAF Code 34

I Answered my own questions. But thanks to the information on this board and Especially Tom's Here is what I found.

The fuse pointing towards the front of the car on the passenger fender was blown. Replaced that, pulled the 3 amp fuse under the dash, and no code yet. It had a 20 amp, all I had was the 15 Amp, but it works in closed loop. And the car does not stall even with the A/C on. Fortunately, I have a manual so I could live with it with just a tired left foot.

GM told me the both relays for FPump and MAF are the same part number.

Thanks guys, I thought the MAF I had bought at Autozone 2 months ago was toast.
