i took my ecm out SER.NO.1228746 86APTY K190470249 16132231 do any of you guy's recognize these part #'s if so can u tell me what i got .first time looking at this stuff

1228746 is the ECM type, also referred to as an '8746.
APTY is the broadcast code of the chip. If this still means nothing to you, you need to read a bit more

CAN SOME ONE TELL ME WHERE THE ECM FUSE AND HOLDER IS FOR AN '85 IROC-Z? IS IT BY THE BATT ON THE LEFT SIDE WITH AN ORANGE AND BROWN WIRE? THANKS....
