camaro started one second then not the next please help!!!

I have been out driving all night shopping and stuff and no problem starting my car. I start it up to leave my girlfriends and hear the annoying sound of the headlights being on when the car is off..... and also heard a grinding when i started it like it had already been started but it wasnt. Shut the lights off and turned them back on and made sure all my doors were shut and everything and they were. I shut my car off then went to start it back up and get nothing. It wont turn over at all. My VATS system has been bypassed by an electric start button and no problems before. All dash lights and dome light worked. When adjusting the brightness of my dashlights it will make the ATT setting come on and off on my cd player.

I think this has been a problem for some time now due to it randomling dying at stoplights and signs withought any warning but starting right back up and this time its for good. Not sure what it might be but i would appeciate some suggestions!!!!

I'm not 100% sure but I have an 86 Firebird and it kept stalling at stop signs and lights and all I did was change the fuel filter and It was fine after that.
