Headlight motor Fuse. *update*
Upon browsing other tech sites, I found a person asking a question for an earlier 80's firebird than mine. The person told him he can just pull the plug on the motor to keep the headlights in the up position.
Anyone else that had this problem with their 89 firebird, is it the wire running off the front of the motor? they fasten into a rubberish looking plug. I can barely get my fingers down there and are a little hesitant to use pliers til I find out if these are the correct things I should be pulling.
They seem to be the only wires I can see running from the motor.. but Im probably wrong

Well...
If anyone could tell me if the wires running directly off the front of the motor (hook into it with a little rubber pad) are the ones im supposed to pull to cut power to the motor so I can keep my headlights in the up position?
Gotta work soon! need to get these up before hand.

Yes. When the headlights are up (or if the motors won't turn them up), just unplug the connector which has two wires. This will keep the lights up, or allow you to manually raise them by spinning the **** on top of the motor.
