Are you getting power to the connector at the pump?

I have that problem from time to time, both with my front and rear washers. Make sure that fluid is actually reaching the pump--put your mouth over the hose and suck (yeah, I know) until you get a mouthful of fluid (Yeah, I know). By the way, on my car you can hear the pump working.

what kind of noise am i suppose to be hearing?, i only hear the click from the wiper motor moving the wipers but nothing from the pump, what are the chances of having a defective pump?, i'll try to pull the fluid up tomorrow

Very good ones if you are getting power to the connector to the pump when you press the washer switch. If you're not getting power to the connector, I would start backtracking the wiring to the switch harness on the side of the steering column below the dash.

I recently had to replace my pump. And in my opinion, it's very audible.

However, it's 4 or 5 cycles of the pump for it to put anything on the windshield. Try holding down the switch for about 30 seconds.
