Over time these things wear out. If you do have to change them out, there not too bad. you have to drill out the rivets that are holding them in and either buy nuts, bolts and lock washers to put everything back together or rivet those things back in . but thats only if you have the tool to do it.
( you can get something like that at a place that sells tools, there not that expensive depending on what you get )

even tried working it a few times...i wanna be able to use my keyless entry for the winter...wisconsin has some cold *** days and washing the car all the time the locks may freeze up...

Ive been having this problem too. will I need a new actuator? or just some greasing up? if it's the actuators, is this the right product? http://www.autoloc.com/detail.lasso?itemid=gt2000

I had the same problem. I'd have to press the buttons a few times to get them to move all the way.
I sprayed lithium grease all over the linkages and started to move the rod back and forth quite a few times and now they work like brand new.

Everyone will get this problem! lol I have it.. what sux is that I installed an alarm system with keyless entry right? so I go to arm the car and it wont lock the door all the way! I have to manually lock them lol such a krock... but it unlocks them just fine lol. Tried to greese them but no go so.. ya know what? I'm not going to trust these old pos door locks. Because that one time where you press the button, you think its locked but some theif finds out differently THEN! your in some deep shat. So If they dont lock right, greese and cleaning doesnt work or doesnt give you a 100% sure feeling then REPLACE! Before you have to replace some stolen equipment from some car hopper....
