HEY

Ive got an 88 gta. Im having some trouble with the blower motor fuse blowing. Until recently it would only blow on everything but high. If you turned it on high it would pop the fuse instantly. Now it pops it on any speed. Yesterday i put in a new relay and it worked for about an hour then went back to the same old problem. Im just looking for any tips of what to check first. fan motor, relay ground , resistor?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I'd start with unplugging the motor and seeing if it's still blowing fuses. If it continues, you're grounding out somewhere in the wiring.
If it stops blowing fuses, I'd remove the motor to see if it spins freely and possibly replace it (since it's already out and they are fairly cheap.. like $18 at Azone).
