A Dopamine drip at 10-20 mcg/kg/min should give you the Alfa response you're looking for.
P.S.- sorry I can't help with your question, but welcome aboard!

I have made the same transfer, only mine went from a 2.8 mfi to a 305 2bbl. and now a 5.7 tbi. Is your engine carb or tbi? That's the first thing. If you went carb. well you can start by id-ing the ground wires you do not want to cut them out. your ecm harness runs over towards the ac box and down the fender well. you can get to your harness clamp by removing the panel behind on the rear of the wheel well. Remove the pasg, side kick plate and you should see the clamp. Of course unplug your harness which is behind the dash on the same side, it's held in a upward position by a couple of 7mm screws i think. after that you will be able to pull the harness out and on to the fire wall. At this point you have to find your wires for your lights and alll the things youll need to keep running. I have no idea as to how your setup engine wise, but you can get a chiltons manuel and Id your wires. This is not easy if you are running fuel injection, cause your needs for elec. system are greater, but carb. you should not have to much of a problem...This site maybe a help....

Hey I converted from a 89 rs 2.8 to a 400 sb, and i've been in the process of eleminating my excess wires too. my question, are any of the wires that run into the body connector on the passenger side needed for anything else but ecu? I'm trying to keep factory gauges and all that jazz. And anyone know how to re-do the factory tach to work with a v8? I was told it takes a new resistor added somewhere.
From my experience, only the reverse lights (to T5) run through the pass side. All sensors for gauges come through the drivers side bulkhead.
But I have a canadian LG4 that came stock with no computer or air pump and has non-computer carb and dist. Keep that in mind.
EDIT: also I have a mech speedo, I speculate that the electronic speedo has to go to the VSS which I might have seen on on the pass side on other cars. anyhow, just check the wires that go to the tranny first.

no prob, I think what id said will be helpful to the original poster.
I know about past owners mistakes. I found five non-stock relays wired to the headlight switch. there was no problem with them there and no problem without......
