fuel and batt gauge dosnt work

fuel and batt gauge dosnt work
hi i just compleated my engine swap and now the gas & batt gauge are dead the gas is pegged full and bat is @ 0& all fuses good i went from tbi to cab and have extra wires that i didnt hook up. but all the alternator and batt wires are connectid thanks!

Try reconnecting the engine harness grounds that bolt to the back of the passenger side Head (near the firewall).

all the grounds are hooked up
the fuel gauge has moved before but it bounced full to empty like 1 or 2 times then went to full
