hey, i had a viper alarm system installed a couple years ago, not sure which one. anyways, i doesn't work any longer. the alarm only sounds when i press the panic button. when i lock the doors with the remote, the alarm obviously doesn't activate, because it won't go off when try to disturb it. has anyone ever had this sort of problem or have some possible solutions on how to fix it. i really don't feel like taking it to and audio store and having them rip me off. thanks in advance

yeah those damned viper alarm systems......i have one in my IROC and the thing is a P.I.T.A. ,....only cuz theres no remote for it and its hooked up to allthe accessories,...sucks eh? bethankful you dont have that problem to deal with!

 

Viper alarm was made by DEI I think last known number I have for them is 1-800-274-0200 don't know if there still out there.
