What wires where? darnit!

What wires where? darnit!
Well i'm having trouble wireing up my MSD6A.
the wires in question are the red,white,orange,and black wires coming off the MSD box.
Ok so they are supposed to connect here?
or here?
Either way it dosn't make sense. The coil has 2 red and 2 white wires connected to it. The dist has orange, white, black and purple wires.... I'm confused. What wires go where???

Transmission: 700R4
The pink and white wires in the black connector go to the ignition module in the distributor. The pink and white wires in the gray connector go to the ignition and tachometer in the instrument cluster. White wire is for the tachometer.
