Car: '88 Firebird, '91 T/A, '94 Formula
Engine: 305ci TBI, 350ci TPI & 383ci LT1
Transmission: T-5, 700R4 & 4L60E
Dash Board Trouble
When i turn on the headlights in my firebird the lights for the gauges do not come on and the radio display turns off, the gauges do work, the other lights on the dash work such as the parking brake light and the seat blet light, my friend is having the smae problem with his IROC so i thought this may be a known problem, if anyone has any clue how to remedy this problem i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Have you checked to see if any of your exterior lights are out when you turn the headlights on? Also have you checked the "TAIL" & "INST LMP" fuses really good?

I have the same problem, could it be anything other than the fuse causing this? as all my exterior lights work

you might have a bad dimmer switch in the headlight switch. i would replace it.
