I have a 88 Iroc z and the ingnition key cylinder just broke and I need the car so I have a ride to the parts store to get a new one.

Does anyone know the wires I can cross so I can get the comp on and so i can start the motor. I unlocked the steering and the the tranny. i just need to turn the engine on.

help as soon as possible

Remove the cover from under the steering column. Un bolt the igntion switch on top of the column and push it toward the steering wheel. The rod from the key will push the switch and start the car.
