Body is an 83 Trans Am, we should be close to finishing this thing up, just want to be prepared tomorrow for any surprises so I can drive this thing away.

Apparently the connectors are not compatable from my 83 to later years on the tail light hook up. My mechanic is just about done finishing this up. Do I have to hit up the boneyard for a tail light harness and disconnect it? The harness from the engine is an 89 tpi, we were mainly concerned about fuel pump issues so it wasn't rigged and plus my old harness was hacked to bits.

Also if I have power to the car, i should be able to open the trunk (the key isn't working) otherwise how would i jump it to pop the trunk?
