fan stays on when car is off
started 2 days ago , checked grounds they are good ,moved the relay around and it turns off, move it around again turns back on, the connector is loose cause of age , the wires move freely in and out ,looked at a wire diagram could be a going bad relay being stuck open
any input please

The only 2 reasons it would stay running after turning the car off would be the contacts in the relay are fused closed (time has a way of doing that...) or, the +12v wire in from the battery is somehow comming in contact with the power out wire to the fan (the 2 heavy gauge wires).
I'd guess a bad harness plug if just moving the wires (w/o disturbing the relay much) causes it to cease. To make a realy break it's contacts usually take a pretty moderate sized hit.
