relocating the battury to the rear glove box

relocating the battury to the rear glove box
is this possible? or would i have to relocate it to the spare tire's home? if i have to put it where the spare tire is is it possible to put the spare tire where the rear glove box is ?

I don't see why you couldn't. I personally have never had that side appart so I don't know exactly what it looks like below but I would think you could. Most people put the battery in the spare tire compartment for wieght transfer. That way you don't have more weight on one side of the car. But if you want to, tear it down and see if it will fit.

well thats what im wondering i wanna move it for weight transfer but would also like to keep my spare tire. so if i move the battury to where the spare tire is. can i move the spare tire to where the rear glove box is ?

hey its way to much effort to move the spare over to the other side. Im doing the exact same thing because i want to keep my spare as well. There is plenty of room for a battery the only thing that i have to do now is fab up a little battery tray for the battery to sit on.

Lay on the ground and look under the rear of the car.. notice the symmetry and design. You'll then realize why the spare is where it is.
The spare and jack are also heavier than the battery which, where the spare is, is the side you want the weight on.

leave the spare alone, there's plenty of room under the rear glove box. There is nothing below the cardboard in the rear glove box and the bottom of the car. That's where my battery is gonna go when I stop being lazy.
