Here's a strange one. My 3rd brake light does not work when the hatch is in the fully closed position. It works like a champ if I press the hatch further down and even works as trunk is coming up (until contact broken). My thought was that shoe on the underside of the hatch. Using test leads it works even when moving shoe up and down. Pontiac tells me the shoe is discontinued (of course ). Can anyone tell me if tey have ever changed it or if someone could move theirs uo and down to tell me if it is smooth or does it feel unoiled?) Any comments appreciated!
