Oxygen sensor wire going from the Computer!!
I have a 305 TBI, I installed the air/fuel ration guage, and From the Haynes manual purple wire is the one I have to T- to. However, I found two purple wires, one always showed lean and the other one oscilates like it is working, but I am not sure if I am t'ed to a right wire. Which freakin wire is it!!!???

If your ECM is PN1227165 then,
The purple wire you need will be connected to (D7) on the ECM.
(D6) is the ground for the O2.
The purple wire you need will be connected to (D7) on the ECM.
(D6) is the ground for the O2.
