Transmission: WC-T5, WC-T5, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
If it is a motorized hatch pull-down unit it should work. I see pull-down units on eBay often that are incorrect for the years listed. I also see solenoid hatch releases misrepresented as either a motorized hatch pull-down unit or that it will fit years that it won't. Post a picture of the unit here or e-mail it to me and I'll know for sure.
Also while I'm at it, I sell all the parts to rebuild your hatch pull-down unit (in case the one you get from eBay turns out to be a DOA). Just click on my link above.

I see....now that you mention the solenoid unit, I'm pretty sure thats what it is. The motor itself doesn't seem that big and the mechanism is way smaller than the one I have. Would it still bolt up right? Would I be able to use the push button opener?
