12v ignition source in engine bay
Are the smog pump electrical connections 12v or 5v? I am hooking up my electric fan switch and was looking for an easy to use ignition wire to connect that was under the hood. Any recommendations? The search keeps coming up funny for me.

TTT, I don't have access to a voltmeter right now and I don't feel like toasting this relay.

i would tap into a pink wire with a black stripe leaving your fuse box. all pink wires with black stripes are 12v switched on the inside. just run the wire threw the firewall threw an existing hole. (speedo cable, a/c grommet, etc)
dont burn anything up.

If I were to use the Smog pumps ign wire, I would need to ground the other wiring coming from it correct?
