Just completed the gauge cluster swap (86 into an 82) and everything works perfect except the speedo. Not sure why, because I followed the instructions to the letter. Guess I need to check output readings from both the buffer and transmission in order to see if I'm getting voltage from either. Any ideas from you guys will be most helpful.

Thanks a lot. I now see what my problem is. I using the incorrect connector into the VSS. I'll let you know how it comes out in a coule of weeks.
