? fusible links ?
question about fusible links... are they "rated" with specific values, like fuses are, or are they a generic kind of thing? i need to replace mine, although not sure which one it is that is bad, other than the one that powers the ecm...

If you go to a parts store to get a new one, look at the package and note the vehicle manufacturer the fuse is designed for (GM, Ford, Toyota, and such).
