HELP, need a good IGNITION COIL!

I went to a local car show last night and was told replacing the stock ignition coil would be a good idea. I've got a 1991 3.1 V6 with only 34k original miles. I just replaced the spark splugs with autolite double platinum plugs, the wires with ACCEL 9mm and the cap and rotor with an ACCEL cap and rotor. After looking at a few coils I see they all claim higher volts than stock but some give the milliamps and others tell the primary resistance in ohms. I don't understand all of this can anyone explain it to me??? I need something that will work with what I've got. My distributor is stock and I don't plan on changing it. Any help is greatly appreciated cause I'm in the dark here.
