need help with new guage cluster wiring....

i have a 91 Z28 with the electronic guages and im doing a custom guage set up using the AutoMeter 160MPH Speedo and it has a built in digital Odometer. how would i get the digital odometer to work correctly? is there anyway of converting from my current mechanical to digital?

Wait...isn't the T-56 have a VSS in it? If you are going from digital to digital, just re-use the speedo wires coming from the VSS...you have the digital autometer speedo, right?

speedo is analog and odometer is digital. what i need to know is how to get the odometer wired to work correctly?

Then you have the digital speedo (the pointer will still be there...)

Just find the 2 wires from the VSS on the rear of the transmission and tap into them.

It should be pin A10 on your computer. (if you are carbed, just pull and use it, if you still have your computer, just tap into it.)

A10) is on the 24 pin computer connector, and should be a brown wire on teh locking tab side.
(Locking tab to left, A is on left side...1 starts at top and goes down to A24.)
