dash harness interchanging

Car: 1982 Trans Am & 1982 Corvette
Engine: L-98 with LO-3 induction. 350 CFI
Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4
Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown
dash harness interchanging
I have a questing regarding 1989 firebird/trans am dash harnesses.
I'm converting my 82 trans am to TBI and cant find a harness anywhere for the dash, I want to use VATS but no air bags so I guess a 1989 harness is the only one I can use.
Is a V-6 or TPI dash harness the same as the TBI dash harness, is there any difference in the ecm's diagnostic port, and how about the plug that connects to the ecm harness under the passenger side dash hush panel.
I have a 89 camaro ecm to engine harness which I believe is the same as the firebirds. and I have the main engine electrical harness from a 89 camaro as well. will this stuff plug into a 89 firebird V-6 or TPI dash harness.
answer this and recieve a case a beer but no guessing on this
