Is wireing like this bad

CAn i tap into a power wire and basicly T off of it to a second item that needs power it will be a switched 12 v source. If so can i do this in the middle or is it better to start the wire at the very end of the connection were the wire ends and hooks into the part. I hope you can understand this.

As long as you dont have too much load on the wire (multiple devices) it should be ok to splice into one. Just dont do it half assed with a quick splice

Is this for the V6 or the bird, because i see an MSD on the v6...

As long as its a good gauge wire it should be ok.

The "right" way to do it (any response that uses the term "right" is going to be opinion ) is to use the accessory terminals on the fuse block.

Running two or more components on the same circuit means that when one fails, they both fail, and troubleshooting is made more difficult.

Not to mention that opening the sheathing on the wiring opens a path for corrosion.

You can get connectors from practically any GM out of the wrecking yard, and just solder/shrink tube the lead to whatever wire you need to power. Inline fuse is also a good idea, but typically GM accessory terminals are all on 30A circuit breakers.
