fuel pump dead
I disconnected the relay from the connector there was a pop and spark now no power to the pump or relay. Is there a fused link, I checked the one in the car it is good..... any help would be great. By the way it is a 92 z 350 tpi..... and a HAYNES book for these cars is worthless..................

Check for a blown 20 AMP fuse located near the battery in the engine compartment. This controls power to the fuel pump relay and makes you think you have a dead pump. This is an in-line fuse coming off the positive cable of the battery.

I found it I PM VADER and he helped me out yes it was this fuse. The crazy thing looks like a relay I never knew it was there. thanx for the help but My fans are still dead. I checked the relay, fan switch and wires from the relay to the fan all are workin and the connectors are getting fire but they will not run the fans but I can jump the relay and they work. I will just put them on a switch so I have control of them...Thanx Again Steve.................
