SLOOOWWW Electric Windows
Ever since I disconnected the electric window motors for painting my window motors either go up and down really slowly and stop part ways (passenger side) or only goes down 1 inch and stalls (driver side).
I don't hear any grinding and the motor doesn't get louder or hum like it's being stalled. It just moves real slow and eventually stops before it goes all the way down or up.
Is it possibly the regulator? Or is it a bad motor? I checked the plug between the door and frame and it looks ok.
Anyone else have this problem???
Thanks

Clean out the tracks and put some lithium grease it there.
Awhile back someone made super fast power windows by hooking a transformer up for more voltage... might be worth looking into also.

Wow I like that idea. Sounds like it would be a major project though since you have to go from DC-->AC-->DC again.
