Coolant fan / car overheating HELP
Ive had my car and had a problem with it overheating and didnt see anything on my gauge so i elimanted a few possibilities and ended up replacing the radiator cap because i thought that might be bad but turns out nope. My car is still over heating and my coolant fan never turns on no matter how hot it gets. Im not quit sure what the problem could be. The car is overheating and the fan never comes on. What could be the problem

Check the 20 amp FAN fuse first under the steering column. A quick and easy test for the fan is to start the car and turn on the AC and watch and see if the fan comes on or not. If the fan comes on, than the problem is probably the cooling fan switch in the passenger side cylinder head (or the wiring to it). If the fan doesn't come on, than the problem is probably the fan wiring or the fan motor.
But, before you go out and buy new stuff, try the AC test first. That will help eliminate certain possiblities, whether it comes on or not.
EDIT: Oops, nevermind, found your other post.
