Cluster Bulbs Why?
The cluster contains various intensity bulbs and some of the sockets are different colors. Why? If I wanted to use one of those bulbs to use as a "Fans On" light in the dash, which would be the best--or does it matter?

The reason the sockets are colored different is to indicate the different bulb types (#194, #168, & #161). What I did was just replace all the bulbs in my cluster with #194LL bulbs and haven't had any problems with them.

Makes sense. Why the need for different intensity bulbs? I assume that the 194's are the highest intensity?
