Radio Settings Saver/battery ???
Since I moved the battery to the rear of the car and installed a cut out switch, I have become extremily annoyed by having to reset the radio all the time when the switch gets turned off. So I had and Idea to add a battery to the 12 volt constant wire to the radio. I put a diode in so that the battery doesn't try to feed the entire cars electrical system. Will this work? Any suggestions ??

It will work, but the easiest way is to run a seperate power wire to the radio head unit.
