Transmission: TH350, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt ???, 9 bolt 3.27 posi
Do i need this connector?
it goes to the transmission but i'm not sure what its for.....i've got a carb'd 355 going in and no computer BS at all, non lockup TCI torque converter, (700R4), i had cut two of the 4 wires when removing all the computer crap, not sure if i can get rid of the other two wires

I've had some fun with that connector over the past few days.
It's for TCC lockup. Purple wire is for 12v and is switched off when the brake is pressed.
Tan/black is ground from the ECM to tell the TCC to lock up.
The other wire is to tell the PCM when the tranny is in 4th gear.
Should be only 3 wires, not 4 even tho the connector can accomidate a 4th wire.
