lighting trouble

my signal lights are messed up. ok so when the car is running normally with nothing turned on, for some reason the driver side orange light is on in front and not the pass. side. if i turn on the left turn signal then it flashes normally. the pass side orange is not on, and when i turn on the pass signal, it just comes on and stays on(as does the back turn signal), no flashing. so then i turn on the headlights, now both orange lights are on along with the headlights, but the pass side orange one is a not as birght as the driver side one. whats causeing this?

Without being able to test light anything, I would say either you have a bad bulb socket someplace or you have a bad turn signal switch.
