Doam Light Flickers
This winter, my doam light started flicking off n on while driving. At first I thought it was the cold weather, so I just pulled the bulb.
Now its summer, its back in, same problem. So its not weather and I'm ready to fix it.
it comes on when doors are closed and..
accelerating hard.
going up steep hills
cornoring HARD
misc bumps here n there.
Is it a door pin, headlight switch, bad wiring? Which seems to be most commen in these cars?

I'd jiggle the doorpin, that sounds most likely. Do all interior lights or just the dome light. If its JUST the domelight then its a loose connection, most likely either to the bulb or to ground.

More than likely it is a wire that has become worn and is making contact at times while you are driving. It is either in the door switch or the wire that runs from the dome light down the "A" pillar on the drivers side.

I belive it is just the doam light. Is their another light that comes on when the door is open on stripped base model?
Does zone or any local parts store sell replacement pins for these where I dont have to hack/splice my harness?
Does the wire going down the post route inside the post, or along side?
Thanks for tips. Its getting nice out and I'm starting to get the tinker urge

I don't believe that any of the parts stores carry replacement pins. There are some stores like carquest that carry a limited stock of weather pack connectors and pins. The other lights that you would have on that sircuit would be the courtesy lights under the dash. The wires that I mentioned are under the plastic trim pieces and are held in place by plastic clips.

Alright, will pull that panel down in next few days, and dig under my headliner too and see what I find. Thanks

Yes you should have the courtesy lights under the dash by the kick panel on each side of the car. If you don't see them, they may have the bulbs burned out or removed and the connector stashed behind the kick panel.
